Microneedling

How does microneedling work? Another name for Microneedling is Collagen Induction Therapy. This treatment improves the production of collagen and elastin, which provides you with firm and supple skin. This skin resurfacing process stimulates the epidermis layer by producing  micro-punctures in the skin. Our device is the first FDA approved microneedling tool made by SkinPen. This process is safe since only small single use sterile needles are used and collagen production is triggered by pentrating the top layer of skin. 

To ensure your comfort and effectiveness of the treatment, the area will be cleaned and a topical numbing cream is applied. The skin will be tender afterwards, like a slight sunburn. The healing process only takes one to two days and is best to avoid direct sunlight. Makeup should not be applied until skin is healed in order to keep the skin clean and allow your skin's natural healing process to work.
